Before I made my way into real estate, I was a production worker for 17 years with a large corporation. I grew up on a farm and took pride in working hard, so I found this type of labor and working so closely with others to be somewhat rewarding. Then after so many years, I found myself staying there because it was a stable job, but I truly craved to do something different and felt I had so much more to offer people as I matured. I felt blessed and thankful that I had a stable job, and given the time and the way I was raised, you just did not leave stable paying jobs.  Well, my job got bought out and went to Canada! 

With the need to make lemonade from lemons, I went back to school, took several classes, and received my Real Estate Broker’s License in 2003. I have never looked back since! This has been such a rewarding career for me. I continually receive referrals from my past co-workers for their real estate needs, and it seems easy for them to let me help with their needs because they had already witnessed for years how passionate I am about working and how much I care for others. This job was just what I needed… It fuels my soul, I love the human interaction and being able to help people on a daily basis get to their next place in life, and I enjoy the challenges of making deals that seem nearly impossible come together.

I am so fortunate that now my husband, Jeff, and two of our daughters, Holli and Hayley, are all able to work with me as a family team of four, each having our own roles and responsibilities. I personally take pride in the fact that we are able to run like a “Well Oiled Machine” and that happens to be one of my favorite compliments that I’ve received from many of our clients. This is a HUGE win for the clients that work with us!

I have always loved to negotiate, so I find it exciting to get my clients the best deal possible or to help them get their dream home secured with my skillful tactics when bidding against multiple offers. I am personally invested in my clients and take pride in them reaching their real estate goals. This mind set and work ethic is what has made us the #1 Sales Team once again at RE/MAX Results in 2019, and has also given our team a fresh perspective when it comes to working and being so successful in the luxury market.

When I have a day off, I love spending my time outdoors, swimming, boating, going to church to count my many blessings and acknowledge all I have to be thankful for, and enjoying special time together with our friends, family, and granddaughters.
